Jun-chan and I spent Tuesday day at a shopping outlet mall in Kaihinmakuhari, Chiba ken. I resisted the urge to buy pretty things for an apartment I don't have and instead bought teeny-tiny running shorts under that pretence that I am now an athlete and not a fan of skimpy clothing. The day was nice and civilised and good fun. I should have known it wouldn't last. The evening turned into a messy beer fest. Jun-chan and I met Jaco, and his mates Christian and Ben at an "English pub" (a dirty room with pictures of Oasis and football hooligans on the walls) and went to an all you can drink place. We did our best.
