Oden on sale in Lawsons. Clockwise from top left: tofu, wiener (non non-meat variety), chikuwa (fish cake roll), noodles, roll cabbage (filled with non non-meat mincemeat), daikon (Japanese radish), tofu gift bag (I have no idea what this is). Often you find konnyaku (ground vegetable root made into a big jelly lump which tastes surprisingly good after you've been here a year and a half), eggs and sometimes potatoes. All left boiling for hours and hours on the counter. Delicious.
