Dilemma!

Don't worry, I am not getting all moony eyed over some guy in a baseball cap with a plaster on his cheek and Patti LaBelle is not going to turn up anywhere on this weblog. My dilemmas are my own, and they are many: where does it all go from here? What does the future hold? What should I devote my life to?

These are all clearly important, but there is one more important question looming.

Should I change the name of this weblog?

Clearly I am no longer in Japan, but I do intend to return. But I don't have any idea when or how. So I'm not in Japan. But I still get it wrong quite often. So what to do?

Answers in a comment box below please!

Why don't you just call it Getting It Wrong?

Or you could go with the 80s childish "Getting it wrong in Japan..... NOT!"

You mentioned you have a job now, but doing what? Please, tell the people, what's Chris doing these day for moolah?

I on the other hand have exciting news. After two interviews in English/Japanese last week, I was asked to book tickets for on-site interviews with two Japanese companies, so next week I'm flying to Detroit (then driving to Battle Creek, Michigan) and Nashville for interviews with Japanese companies looking for bilingual engineers.

It's a rush, but this is something I want. Have to learn a whole new set of vocabulary, so I now know how to say things like production, ceramics, outsource, and development in Japanese.

Have to do some serious studying of plastic molding/injection, LED/LCD, and materials this upcoming week in preparation so I impress, although I'm wondering if they will really think that I'll have much of a brain for the engineering side of things after 2 years in Japan teaching mind-numbing English.

Pics on my website of me playing disc, my team DoG made it to Nationals so I'll be flying to Florida in two weeks and hopefully seeing Keisuke (you met him, right?) who's now working in Orlando. That's the news from the US.

Gaah Blogger won't post this. You need some different, clearly. No one is interested in funny tales of Life in the Land of the Rising Sun and its afterLife and the subsequent attempts to return to Life. You need something that will appeal to those doing a Google search on Japan. HOT LOVE JGIRLS XXXDVDXXX PORNSHACK. Or maybe BLURRED OUT CROTCH-AREA SEXXXY JAPANESEGIRLS. Or even better, OFFICE LADIES GONE WILD. Be true to the blog, my friend.

Or better yet...call it DILEMMA. Your life (and blog) seems to be filled with it. And they are what make you interesting. c",)

I would leave it. Experiences are a part of who you are as a person and who you become. For some reason I think it fits.
